Every kit ships with the five coats below, pre-measured for your square footage. Follow them in order with the tools in the box, and the result reads as one continuous surface — not a weekend project stitched together.

01 Substrate Screed, tile, board, or old flooring — if it's stable, it's ready. The kit guide walks you through prepping it yourself.

02 Bonding primer One coat, rolled on by hand, so every layer after it actually bonds. Twenty minutes of work most people are tempted to skip.

03 Base coat Two coats, trowelled and levelled by hand — this is what turns an uneven wall or floor into a single plane.

04 Pigment coat The exact colour you tested in your sample kit, now trowelled onto the real surface. This is the layer you'll actually live with.

05 Protective sealer Matte or satin, your call. One coat, and the surface is ready for daily use — foot traffic, splashback, even dog claws.
